Harms wins „The Market“ prize
Zeitenspiegel photographer Kathrin Harms has won the competition for the photo festival “The Market,” which begins on May 28th. Harms receives the 3000 Euro award for her work “Being demented where others vacation.” Reinhard Heinis (73 years old) and the other demented patients are taking an excursion in Thailand. A folk festival is currently taking place at the market.

Joy, beautiful spark of divinity
Author Andrea Böhm and photographer Marcus Bleasdale have won the 2010 Hansel Mieth Prize. The journalists are receiving the prestigious award for the reportage “Freude, schöner Götterfunken” (Joy, Beautiful Spark of the Gods), which was published in Zeit Magazine.
