For several weeks in 2023, author Rike Uhlenkamp and photographer Rainer Kwiotek traveled across Germany. Between Munich, Westerhever, Zittau, and Essen, they met 17 young people, listened to their worries and hopes, their attitudes, their anger and joy. And they created elaborate portraits of the teenagers.
The resulting 16-page cover story of our eighth Mut Magazine, was now awarded: the European Publishing Award for „Magazine Story of the Year.“.
In this category, the jury honors submissions that have particularly moved them: with high thematic relevance, outstanding content, and brilliant design. The reporting team is very pleased about the award and accepted it at the festive award ceremony on Monday, June 23, 2025, in Vienna.
