The selection of reports and photos, gathered by Zeitenspiegler from over 30 conflict regions, can be viewed in the east wing of the main building until September 30th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt's about showing that peace can be exciting. Unfortunately, war still tends to attract media attention and offers excitement \u2013 and we want to change that,\u201d says Wolfgang Steiner from the team of the \u201cNorth German Network for Peace Education,\u201d which brought the exhibition to Hamburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A specially designed supporting program complements the exhibition with discussion events, lectures, and educational learning units. However, the first point of access for visitors is the concrete case studies: The exhibition focuses on peace workers. Peace workers like Avihai Stollar. He was an Israeli soldier in Palestine, and today he educates people about the conflict, showing tour groups the consequences of injustice in the region. He spoke personally about his experiences in Hamburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors to the exhibition will also have direct contact with the \u201cpeace workers\u201d: Among others, the two Nigerians Muhammad Ashafa and James Mouvel Wuye will appear together on September 21st.
