Life
Born in 1947, he found his way to photography through a roundabout route. After studying mathematics and a brief stint as a high school teacher, he began working as a photojournalist for Zeitungsverlag Waiblingen in 1973. In 1985, together with Ingrid Eißele and others, he founded the reportage agency Zeitenspiegel and has since been photographing political and social issues for all well-known German and foreign magazines.
